An introduction to the Blog

Hello, my name is Thomas Moulton, welcome to my blog.

In this blog I shall be looking into Medicine, but I think ill focus more on the impressions that people have gotten from medicine over the years. It seems more interesting to look at the fear caused by medicine then
the actual subject, I find the subject of how the science has been interpreted by people much more interesting then medical journals and medicines actual advances. This point of view on the medical genre will allow me to look at the interesting subjects of tribal medicine, medicine that made things worse, medical horror stories and lies medicine told back when it wasn’t against the law to lie.

As for the big picture, I’m not sure as to how I will tackle that one, the big picture to me means people’s perceptions on the world as a whole. So usually it is tied in with philosophy as not many other subjects refer to it often, I suppose it’s easy to tackle an unethical subject if you don’t think about the repercussions. But anyway who knows where this interesting subject will take me!

Throughout this blog I will be using this formatting:

I will use black text for backed up facts that I will then reference

I will use green text to depict my opinions and ideas which are not backed up by reference

I will use blue text to depict any reference's I will have.

NOTE: I seem to have had some trouble with the formatting throughout my blog, it seems that no matter how I write it the blog reorganises itself, randomly changes font and size and generally seems to become strangely messed up. I have tried many times to fix this and I believe I have however There is no way of knowing if it will mess up again, I apologise for any errors of these that may appear.

  1. Interesting choice of topics.Check grammar and use a less colloquial and more academic style of dialogue as this is a contextual piece of writing.
you need to formally state what area of medicine you are exploring rather than "things like"

  2. Nice topics which should give a good diverse path of research.

Interesting topics but you need to have more research and with the research you need more pictures as to not make your blog uninteresting to a reader as it may seem tedious. Don't be afraid to delve further and don't just include your opinion but look into how others look at things and what implications your topics have in certain religions of cultures (jahovah witnesses don't use medicines, in some cultures they make their own medicines, some cultures the 'bigger picture' could look different to them). A good start and I am interested to see how you look into these topics.

  4. You need to have more confidence in the topic of the bigger picture and embrace the variety of it more. At the moment it feels like you're not sure it's interesting enough and thT filters through to the reader.
You still need to correct grammar and spelling. Attach links to the original source of your images and make sure the images are relevant and not just for decoration. What's the image of the earth for?
